End Period Poverty Policy In New Democratic Party Of Manitoba

** Every day students in Manitoba miss classes and extracurricular activities because they don’t have access to menstrual products.

** But there’s a simple way to change that.

** We introduced a bill to provide free menstrual products to students so they can focus on learning and the things they love.

** We know the PCs don’t want to talk about menstruation.

** Last year when we asked them to provide free menstrual products to students, the PC Minister for the Status of Women refused to answer the question and said they’d offer girls data blockers instead.

** Girls and students deserve a government that can talk about menstruation and fights to end period poverty!
