Voter Information Service :

The Voter Information Service provides information about your electoral district, including the list of candidates, locations of advance and election day polling places, the address of your local Elections Canada office and a map of your electoral district.

This service provide the following details,
** What is your electoral district?
** Name of your returning officer

** List of candidates in the last election
** Map and electoral district profile
** Past election results and more

Select one of the options below to find your electoral district :
Search by postal code :
Enter your Postal Code and Click on the Search button

Other searches :
** by electoral district name
** by candidate name
** by maps
** by place name (village, city)
** by list (all of Canada or by province) for Select a Region and click on the Search button

Search by postal code Type in your home postal code, then click the “Search” button.
Search by electoral district name Choose a province from the pull-down menu, click the “Search” button, then follow the additional instructions on the screen.
Search by candidate name Choose a province from the pull-down menu, click the “Search” button, then follow the additional instructions on the screen.
Search by using maps Choose a province from the pull-down menu, then click the “Search” button. You can then click on a riding or city on the map shown to display a more detailed map.
Search by place name (i.e. village, city) Choose a province from the pull-down menu, click the “Search” button, then follow the additional instructions on the screen.
Search by list (all of Canada or by province) Choose a province from the pull-down menu, then click the “Search” button. A list of electoral districts for that province will be displayed. Choose your electoral district.

About Us :
The position of Chief Electoral Officer, was created in 1920 by the Dominion Elections Act, largely to put an end to political partisanship in the administration of federal elections.

The Chief Electoral Officer is appointed by a resolution of the House of Commons, so that all parties represented there may contribute to the selection process.
