National Assembly Elections :

** National Assembly elections are conducted on a four-year cycle upon the expiration of the term of office.

Related : NEC Korea Recall Votes :

** National Assembly elections are held on the first Wednesday from the 50th day before the expiration of the term of office.
(As prescribed in the Article 34 (a) of the Public Official Election Act)

General Guide :
** Voting Age – 19 years of age or above as of Election Day
** Photo ID card issued by public offices (e.g. resident registration card, driver’s license or passport, etc) is needed for voting.

Eligible Voters (as of the base date of the voters list) :
** Any person whose resident registration is made in the district under the jurisdiction of the relevant local government
** Overseas citizens who have reported domestic residence in Korea and are on the Domestic Residence Reporters List

Election Day (April 13)
** Polling Station – Voting is available only at the polling station stated in the voting guide sent to each voter
** Voting Hours – 06:00~18:00

Overseas Voting (March 30-April 4) :
** Overseas Polling Stations established at diplomatic missions
** Voting Hours – 06:00~17:00

Shipboard voting (April 5-8) :
** On board

Early Voting (April 8-9) :
** Polling Station – Voting is available at any early polling station established in each Eup/Myeon/Dong voting district
** Voting Hours – 06:00~18:00
