Prisoner Vote Registration :
When : 20th to 27th February, 2017, In accordance with the law, IEBC is conducting voter registration in prisons to allow eligible prisoners to exercise their democratic right to vote. This will happen in 117 prisons countrywide.

Important Information :
** A prisoner who is registered as a voter will only vote for a presidential candidate of his or her choice.
** Prisoners will only vote from the prison in which they are registered as voters.
Requirements :
** Be a Kenyan citizen.
** Be 18 years of age and above.
** Have an original Kenyan ID or valid passport
About Us :
The Commission is responsible for conducting or supervising referenda and elections to any elective body or office established by the Constitution, and any other elections as prescribed by an Act of Parliament and, in particular, for;
** The continuous registration of voters and revision of the voter’s roll;
** The delimitation of constituencies and wards;
** The regulation of political parties process;
** The settlement of electoral disputes;
** The registration of candidates for elections;
