Where To Vote :

In the Cayman Islands, if you are a registered elector, there are three different ways you can vote

a) In person at a polling station :
** Polling stations will be open on Election Day in each of the 19 single member Electoral Districts.
** Follow us on Twitter or Facebook to be notified when the polling station list for the 2017 General Elections is finalized.

b) By Postal Ballot :
** If you are off-island for any reason whatsoever you may apply for a postal ballot using Form B. Postal ballots will only be issued after Nomination day.

c) By Mobile Voting :
** If you are located in the Cayman Islands but you are unable to physically attend the polls on poling day, you may apply for mobile voting using Form C. Elections Office polling staff will visit you in person, or you will be able to vote before polling day at early voting station.
** Days for mobile and early voting will be published nearer to the nominations day. Follow us on Twitter or Facebook to be notified when mobile and early voting dates are announced.

How To Vote :
** When you arrive at the polling station, or Elections Officials visit you for mobile voting, show your Voters ID card and identity documents, then follow the directions of the Election officials.
** If you do not have a voter’s ID card, or other official acceptable means of identification, you may be asked to make a declaration of identity and sign the declaration before being given a ballot paper.
** Once you are given a ballot paper, you will be directed to a poll booth.
** DO mark your choice CLEARLY with an X in the box-space on the right-hand side of the ballot paper, opposite the name and symbol of the candidate of your choice.
** All electors will have a choice of one single candidate only.
** DON’T sign or make any marks on the ballot paper that may identify you.

Who Can Vote :
a. If you are registered to vote, and located in the Cayman Islands but you are unable to physically attend the polls on poling day, you may apply for mobile voting using Form C. Elections Office polling staff will visit you in person, or you will be able to vote before polling day at early voting station.

Postal Voting :
** Postal Voting is available to persons who will be or likely to be off Island on Elections Day.
** Applicants will need to complete Form B application which can be downloaded on the website or alternatively, collected from the Elections Office at the address stated below.
** The application maybe submitted via email, preferably or hand delivered to the Elections Office at, 150 Smith Road Centre, 2nd Floor, George Town.
** After Nomination Day, the Returning Officer for the respective Electoral District will send the ballot paper documents to the address provided on the Form B application.
** Please note, applications will be disregarded if less than 12th days before Elections Day.
