** That person must have resided in that Inkhundla for a continuous period of three (3) months.
** He or she shall be entitled to be registered in the Inkhundla in which his or her principal place of business is situated or principal place of employment is situated.

WHAT IS A VOTERS ROLL :
It is a list of eligible registered voters of a polling station to be used in all the elections activities from nominations until secondary elections and by-elections as well.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO BE IN THE VOTERS ROLL? :
Being in the voters roll shows an individual’s interest in the formation of government and qualifies him or her to vote or be voted for or to be appointed by His Majesty The King into Parliament.

VOTERS’ ROLL INSPECTION :
** After the compilation of the voters roll, it is taken back to the respective chiefdoms and registration centres for public inspection.
** They monitor eligibility of all the voters registered in the list and also to check if their own data has been correctly written and make amendments if need be.

NOTE :
The nation is strongly encouraged to inspect the voters roll and effect changes if need be, because after this exercise the final voter’s roll will be produced to be used in the elections and no changes will be effected thereafter.
